This dude basically got paid royalties for a live action beta test where he could work out what would and wouldn’t work for his story. The absolute madman.

Power Move

how is it a power move to write the ending to a story that you created? who is he exerting power over? his own intellectual property?

He got paid a fuckton of money to basically beta test his ending. He initially went on record saying the show’s ending is basically the ending he planned. Now after only 3-4 days he’s said it will not be the same ending in the book.

Aka our reactions are his beta testing. And he’s seen it’s a Bad Idea. But instead of finding people to beta and all that, he literally got paid thousands of dollars for someone else to do all the work for him.
