Because it’s transphobic, biphobic and homophobic.
Anyone’s relationship is about their partner and is not solely defined by that person’s genitalia.
It reinforces the hypersexualization of gay men and lesbians and their relationships as mainly based in sex and lust
It’s transphobic element implies that any relationship is based in a choice of genetalia—not gender and attraction to a PERSON
It’s biphobic as it implies that bisexuals choose a partner for their genetalia and not for them as a person and that pansexuality is somehow inherently more pure
It’s also fodder the assertion that bisexuality is trans-exclusive and transphobic when it isn’t. When trans bisexuals like myself make up a big chunk of the bi community.
